As a native islander, I guess I've learned over the years to pack my own food, but every so often a hot meal is nice. We thought about the buffet but were immediately put off by the long lines, high price and the fact they had no menu or list of items posted outside the dining room! If I'm gonna pay $22 and wait 15 minutes in line, I want to know at least what it is I'm waiting and paying for! We changed our minds and went back for a sandwich and chowder in the cafe. <br /><br />The best meals I've had on BC Ferries are still the ones I've brought on board. I agree more selection/options would be nice.
